This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I'm temporarily stopping all other projects to focus on something new that I'm calling, "The Forever Project".
This summer, my boyfriend left me, I lost a really close friend and my dad died. In the wake of this mess, I've found a couple songs that really... I dunno, just fit. Music and art have always played a huge part in my life so it just kinda hit me. Music incorporated art therapy.
I aspire to be a clinical (or counseling) psychologist, but when a friend of my mom's suggested that I pursue art school instead or maybe try to do both, I remembered, "Hey, there's something called art therapy." So you know the point of it and what it is: "Art therapy is a mental health profession that uses the creative process of art making to improve and enhance the physical, mental and emotional well-being of individuals of all ages. It is based on the belief that the creative process involved in artistic self-expression helps people to resolve conflicts and problems, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and self-awareness, and achieve insight." from the American Art Therapy Association
So, what I've done is chosen the song, Forever by Red. (hence the name, The Forever Project) Really, the song chose me. It's become my obsession and I find it remarkably inspiring. I then chose a small hunk of lyrics that I found most... true to me, broke them up, and started brainstorming ideas. My hope is that this will work and I will achieve a sense of peace and closure by using art as a healthy means of expression.
Nice work
